The two giant chickens had quite a lot to say

Story of the week: 'Britain's cultural heritage suffered a devastating blow yesterday after a council banned references to Christmas' (DAILY EXPRESS)
Anyway another wet day. Watched 'wallace and gromit' at the cinema and it was great. It was full of a lot of sly jokes (the love interest was called 'Lady Tottington' or 'Totty' as she asked to be called) and a lot of references to other films from King Kong to Raiders of the lost ark. A very charming, silly film.
Chelsea finally lose and if there was any champagne nearby, I'd be popping the cork faster than you can say 'huh?' The question is who to support when they face Manchester United on Sunday. Who do I hate less? At the moment I will reluctantly be forced to support Man U, but something tells me my moral support will contribute little to the cause. After all Chelsea are thriving on their strike partnership upfront of Lampard-Lampard. Frank Lampard is playing upfront partnered by Frank Lampard and he's doing a great job of it. ('And it's Frank lampard with a beautiful cross to Frank Lampard! he's holding the ball up well and then delivers a cheeky backflick to Frank lampard!')
Apparently today is chicken day or something like that- at least that's what we were told by two guys who were dressed as chickens somewhere near campus. 'We are trying to find a cure for bird flu' one of them joked. Q asked them for a hug and the two chickens duly obliged. The day I am being hugged by two giant chickens is the day I will take a serious look at my life and where I'm heading.
Q was at the Fez club the other day and on going to the toilet found about three girls-who didnt know each other- all crying separately. She went around asking them what the problem was and then decided that only one of them had a genuine reason to cry so she basically adopted her for the night. The way she told the story it sounded like a twisted version of 'pop idol'. They ended up hanging out together for much of the night. Such stories make me realize just how sane I really am.
