John Mayer...

Someone lent me John Mayer's new album 'heavier things' which has the mind-blowing song 'clarity'. It has an awful lot of other good songs as well though including the only song I've ever heard telling fathers to 'be good to their daughters' aww...how sweet.
However one song was really banging away in my head because I couldn't figure out what he was saying. It had a great melody, but I couldn't hear the words and I just knew they were deep. I looked the song up and voila- its called 'The new deep'. Sample:

Of course I doubt Mayer is actually advocating living your life like this, but the truth is most people do- Living life on the most superficial levelthat is, and I guess it would make you happier if you stopped over-analyzing your life and just...well, chill. But would that be real happiness?
I think I'll ask the crew and post an update. Raymond won't know who the hell John Mayer is though, but Tesi is a fan.
