(?) jokes/cartwheels(?)

Things that happened to me this week:

-I called a stranger who offered me gum in the library 'dude'. Immediately the scales fell from my eyes and I realized I had sinned. I will try not to use the word 'dude' again.
-I was present during a mind-bendingly silly twenty minute conversation on muffins between Quena, Rich and Vid. It was not something that greatly enriched my life. The muffin afterwards was great though. You can't go wrong with a muffin, honestly.
-I heard a very creepy screaming sound from outside my window a few nights ago- like a cat being slowly strangled over and over. Turns out it was a fox. Yes, there is a fox in the neighbourhood. I don't know quite how to take this news.
-Nick Drake's Things behind the sun was in my head for most of the week.
-There was also an unbelievably insane MSN conversation with Raymond about goblins. I saved it somewhere on my computer, but I don't intend to put it up anytime soon.
-I stammered a couple of times during a presentation and I wasn't even nervous. I notice I have been picking up a bit of a stammer over the past few months and it just strikes out of the blue at the most unlikely time. I either got it from my brother- who stutters a bit- or its my brain reacting against my habit for talking too fast. It will now slow me down at any rate.

Some people make me smile, but they don't know it.
