Ring
I watched 'Ring' last night...Not the holywood version, but the original Japanese version with English subtitles. To say I was freaked out is an understatement, that thing is really creepy! Mind you, I'm a horror fan so it takes a lot to scare me- I've been devouring Stephen King novels for years, and I've seen almost any horror film you can shake a stick at. Off the top of my head, only 'The Exorcist' and 'The Omen' really scared me.
Until last night that is.
If you haven't seen Ring, go out and borrow it. It's not in-your-face horror like a lot of American films, but instead relies on atmosphere and suspense to make it a really tense affair. There is a scene about five minutes from the end that is worth the price of rental alone. Don't see it alone though...

the last almost horror movie i watched was 13 Ghosts and my friends had to literally drag me to do it and it was all i could do not to jump onto the person seated next to me (who wouldn't have minded by the way). i guess what i'm trying to say is it's fine, you can have ring all to yourself, i'll stick to finding nemo. to put it in a phrase my friends just came up with 'i just can't get involved'. carlo
It's fairly amazing how similar you and Raymond are! The obsession with cars, the distaste for horror, the love for Mr Bush...a bit creepy actually :)
