Random thoughts continued...
-There is a formal dinner going on in the hall today, but I skipped it as always. Can't be bothered as the English like to say. a) There is NO way in hell I'm going to raise my glass to toast to the queen b) Distrust any enterprise that requires new clothes as someone famous once said (Yes- I do not own a suit) c)Eating dinner at these things comes with a 150 page manual- seriously. It is all so elaborate that if I was so much as to swing my fork at an undesirable angle I would instantly become a pariah.
Basically- No thanks
-Why exactly is McFly singing about a girl with 'Five colours in her hair?' I would stay at least a hundred meters away from anyone with that much follicle creativity.
-I am going to prove- with scientific evidence- that 'Lose my breath' sucks- but not now. This saga is going on longer than 'Dallas'.
-What kind of Janet Jackson greatest hits compilation leaves out 'if', 'Anytime anyplace' and 'Again'? Which monkey was in charge of that fiasco?
-Can someone please please send Prince Charles to an institution? I'll settle for a Retirement home. The man is a pompous, self-righteous twit. http://www.guardian.co.uk/monarchy/story/0,2763,1354825,00.html
-Only in England does the word 'blatant' actually get used in regular conversation

Stumbled across your blog. Creative and very humorous as only true life can be. A change after reading blogs that so blatantly rely on the total lack of creativity to try to keep ones interest.
actually darlyne (i think you met her through her blog) uses blatant almost as much as the english. i enjoyed formal dinners until i heard your rantings, i'm never going for one in england! the ones i attend, you eat with a fork, knife, spoon, teaspoon and your hands all at once so i guess i've never been to a REAL formal dinner. not that i want to, i like the part when you try to fix a whole chicken leg onto a teaspoon with your hands!
p.s. for personal reasons i shall not divulge, lose my breath more than sucks!

I think you should tell the truth about that "I don't want to go to those boring snobby formals..."
If you don't I'll do it.
During all the fun those people have in suit, you are in someone's room getting so drunk with foreign people that even your mother would not recognize you (ask Matt for the picture)
