"It is too cold to take over the world this evening"

The two people I was with seemed to think this was not such an outrageous thing to do apparently.(No one in England would ever attempt to do this of course- they would probably end up forming a queue or something)
"Will you give me 5,000 pounds then?" One of them said.
"Not unless you become my acolytes- or my minions! Which one do you prefer?"
This actually seemed to puzzle them both. Which to choose....Decisions, decisions.
"But if you had all the world where the hell would you put it?" She asked me. Good point! Especially considering how bloody small my room is in the first place.
"That's up to me- so are you in or not? You can be my right hand...people. Well one on the right and one on the left anyway. My right and left hand generals"
"Umm..just give me the 5,000 pounds" She said.
"So am I supposed to do all this on my own?"
"I'm going to be a bit too busy this week" The other said "So maybe if it can wait until the end of this term I could pitch in"
I actually had this conversation this evening.
